Changing resolution of your Pocket PC screen

The dotPocket product has its own version of custom video and touch-panel device drivers distributed with the application. They provide high-performance and high-resolution video output. It is to note that even though the dotPocket has its own version of custom device drivers, the application still works with the display device drivers currently installed on the Pocket PC.

The default, or "out-of-the-box" screen on your Pocket PC is 320 x 240 pixels in the portrait mode. Using the dotPocket you can change the resolution on your handheld computer to any size, including the predefined resolutions up to 800 x 600 pixels in either the portrait, or landscape modes. In addition, you can define customized resolutions of any size (e.g., 1000 x 1000 or 2000 x 2000 pixels). You can either fit the whole virtual screen to the Pocket PC screen or use dotPocket browsing capabilities to view different parts of the virtual screen by "scrolling" it inside the real screen.

The blue square that appears on the screen is called the Screen Navigator and can be used to zoom in or out on the resolution.
